MEET MRS SEIPEL

 

My name is Marisa Seipel and I am your child's classroom

teacher for 2020.  I graduated from the Australian Catholic

University with a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood

and Primary).  I started working at St Bernardine's in 2015,

teaching Year One.  This is my fourth year teaching Prep at

St Bernardines and  I am very excited to be working in Prep

again!

I have three children of my own and am very passionate

about educating young people. Before becoming a classroom

teacher I worked as a dance and drama teacher for over 15

years.  I studied and hold certificates in CSTD, RAD and AMEB. 

A big part of my pedagogy in educating children is to incorporate music and movement into learning experiences. I am currently studying my Masters of Educational Leadership.



My goal for this website is to provide you with all the information you need to start your chilld's journey at school.  It will familiarise you with what will happen in our classroom and your child's learning journey this year.

This year in Prep White we will be assisted by Mrs Trudy Delaney (Tuesday to Friday) and Mrs Sue Andrews (Monday).  Both Mrs Delaney and Mrs Andrews has been school officer in Prep for many years and are very experienced working with children.
